Thank you for your interest in the future of the Create Learning Trust.
A great deal has been achieved over recent years. We have a family of Good schools, some with Outstanding features. Our outcomes have continued to strengthen, and collectively we have continued to make real and tangible progress.
How we continue to build on this is something that we have been considering at some length over the last 18 months. Not only do we want to continually do more for our communities, but we also recognise that the world of education is constantly evolving and we are having to manage the realities of declining birth rates and changes to how schools are funded.
Having considered a number of potential avenues for what the future may look like, we are excited by the potential of merging with The Sir John Brunner Foundation (SJBF). The Foundation is a group of three secondary schools and a sixth form college in Cheshire, including two which are Outstanding across the board.
I want to stress that while we see this as a very interesting opportunity, nothing has yet been agreed.
In fact, we are at a very early stage of what is known as the due diligence process. It is immediately clear that we share a very similar ethos and set of values with SJBF, but we want to explore the potential benefits for all members of our community.
We want to ensure that there will be opportunity for you to hear more, ask questions and share your views - which is why this microsite has been created. So, please do engage with us and let us know your thoughts.

Chair of Trustees
Create Learning Trust was established in October 2019. The Trust was based on the partnership of three founder schools, all based in Cheshire, who share a similar ethos and vision.
Hartford Primary School joined Create Learning Trust later to help us further bring our vision to life of collaboratively 'creating success together'.
